Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

Prospergenics (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a grassroots AI and software development coaching community with team members in the Netherlands and Kenya. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch implementation of it (AVG – Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming).

Who is responsible for your data

Prospergenics is the data controller for personal data collected through prospergenics.com. If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact us at [email protected].

What personal data we collect

We only collect personal data that you actively provide to us. Specifically, when you use the contact form on this site, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
  • The subject and content of your message

We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking tools on this site, so we do not collect behavioral or profiling data about your visit beyond what your web browser and our hosting provider log automatically for security and technical operation (such as IP address and browser type), as is standard for any website.

Why we collect this data and our legal basis

We use the information you submit through the contact form solely to respond to your inquiry. This processing is based on your consent, given by voluntarily submitting the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and on our legitimate interest in responding to messages sent to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long we keep your data

We keep contact form submissions only for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry and any related follow-up correspondence, after which they are deleted.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your contact form submission is delivered by email through our website hosting provider, which processes it only as necessary to deliver that email to us.

Cookies

This website uses a limited number of cookies. See our Cookie Policy for full details on what cookies we use and why.

Your rights under the GDPR / AVG

If you are located in the European Union (including the Netherlands), you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Request erasure of your personal data
  • Request restriction of processing of your personal data
  • Object to our processing of your personal data
  • Request that we transfer your data to another organization (data portability)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority – in the Netherlands, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Children’s privacy

This website is not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we start using new tools that process personal data. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
